Battery facility metals and sulphate emissions

How we helped

Trinity provides accurate and timely source emission monitoring to ensure our client complies with its environmental permit.

The Trinity testing results are used to correlate continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMS) instruments across multiple release points.

Each release point is monitored for particulates, moisture, velocity, gases and either metals or sulphates.

This large and complex facility requires high levels of communication between Trinity and client staff to ensure emission testing is completed on schedule and with minimal disruption to production.

About the project

The Century Yuasa Batteries facility turns raw materials into a finished product. Stack testing is undertaken every year to monitor for heavy metals and sulphates from the facility’s 22 release points.

Please note, Trinity Consultants Australia is a merger of three former Queensland-founded businesses: ASK Consulting, Air Noise Environment, and Vision Environment. Many projects listed have been undertaken by current Trinity Consultants Australia team members, while operating under those former business names. Learn more about our history.
